Just because you're traveling during Halloween weekend doesn't mean that your kids have to miss out on the thrills of trick-or-treating! In Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, there are several options for public trick or treating. Pack a costume, crank some Halloween party music, and get ready to collect SO MUCH CANDY!!!
Trick or Treating at The Island
On October 31, The Island at Pigeon Forge will continue their annual trick-or-treating event! Kids can enjoy free trick or treating from 5 to 7 PM. There will also be live music, spooky fountain shows, and other festive activities. Parents will love it as much as the kids do!
Spooktacular Halloween
On October 28, the Pigeon Forge Community Center will host Spooktacular Halloween. This event will be a free, safe, and non-scary event for families that want to trick or treat without so many tricks. Local businesses will be in attendance handing out candy. Some of the businesses will have themed displays and activities for kids and families.
Sheriff's Halloween Block Party
The Sevier County Sheriff's Office will offer a free, safe to trick or treating event on October 30 from 5 to 9 PM at the Sevier County Courthouse in Downtown Sevierville. Local fire, police, EMS, government agencies, and special business partners will hand out candy. It's going to be a blast!
While this event is free, it does require guests to RSVP.
Trick or Treat Kickoff Karnival
Start off Halloween with a fun carnival outside of Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies! There will be contests, costumed characters, candy, games, food vendors, and a pumpkin contest. The celebration will take place on October 31 from 11 AM to 4 PM and will be followed by trick or treating through downtown Gatlinburg at 5 PM!
