After having to cancel their 2020 festival, the Great Smoky Mountain Hot Air Balloon Festival is back- and festival organizers say that the 2021 celebration will be bigger and better than ever!

This event promises to be heartwarming. It is hard not to feel moved when you see balloons fill the sky, floating peacefully above gorgeous Smoky Mountain scenery! Organizers wish to inspire hope and happiness through their stunning balloon display. After the hardships of 2020, they strive to delight and inspire attendees.
Professional balloonists will compliment the mountain sunset. Guests can purchase tethered rides for $25 per rider (weather permitting), or they can sit back and watch the show. There will also be food trucks, local vendors, face painting, rock climbing, live entertainment, and more, so there will be no shortage of activities to enjoy!

This incredible summer festival will take place Saturday, August 21, from 4 PM to 9 PM. Entry costs $5 per person, and parking costs $25. More than 10,000 guests are expected this year, so attendees are urged to buy tickets ahead of time! (Purchase tickets here!)
