Astra Lumina: The new enchanted night walk at Anakeesta is stunning. At this unique attraction, you'll "immerse yourself in illuminating encounters of lighting, projection and sound, and connect with the stars before they return to the sky above." It is a magical addition to the Anakeesta property.
The Firelight Rooftop: This rooftop bar's opening date is yet to be announced, but that hasn't stopped us from getting excited about it! Here, you'll be able to enjoy adult beverages under the stars. The views of town and the mountains are sure to be incredible!
Cumberland Jack's: This new family-friendly restaurant serves up hearty Southern meals in an authentic Smoky Mountain atmosphere to honor the story of Cumberland Jack (Cumberland Jack being the German shepherd owned by Paul Adams, the man who built the first lodge on Mount LeConte in the 1920s). The menu is full of dishes inspired by local heritage and cooked with fresh ingredients.

Buc-ee's: At the beginning of Summer 2023, the nation's largest Buc-ee's will open in Sevierville, TN. Get ready to experience the "world’s cleanest bathrooms, freshest food, and friendliest beaver" at this larger-than-life convenience store next time you're in the Smokies!
Parking Tags: Okay, I'll admit- this one is controversial. Starting in March of 2023, individuals parking in Great Smoky Mountain National Park for more than 15 minutes will have to display a parking tag. While it might feel annoying to have to shell out a few dollars to park for a hike through the beautiful forest, think of the trade offs! This fee will help maintain the beauty and keep it thriving for generations to come. It also means that parking will be easier!
