Fall is my favorite season! It also happens to be one of the best times of year to travel- and there's no better place to travel to than Gatlinburg! Here's why you should visit Gatlinburg this fall.
Gatlinburg's fall foliage is gorgeous! Immerse yourself in the beauty by taking one of the best local leaf peeping hikes. Don't feel like exercising? Take a drive and admire the leaves! We recommend Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail or Little River Road.

Who doesn't love spending the day picking out pumpkins or exploring a corn maze!? Check out Kyker Farms Corn Maze in Sevierville for an afternoon of fall fun. You can also venture across the state border to Darnell Farms in Bryson City, NC.
There are many fall festivals that take place in and near Gatlinburg! Oktoberfest at Ober (September 23 - October 30) is a popular choice for beer lovers. If you prefer wine over beer, then you'll enjoy the Gatlinburg Garden Club Wine Festival (October 15). For artisan gifts, visit the Gatlinburg Craftsmen's Fair (October 13 - October 30).
Have a great fall adventure in Gatlinburg! Plan your trip today!
