Cinco de Mayo is rapidly approaching. Cinco de Mayo, an annual holiday celebrating the Mexican Army's victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla back in 1862, is widely celebrated in the United States with margaritas, tacos, and parties. Many restaurants offer special promotions for the holiday. Gatlinburg is no exception. Here's where you can celebrate locally if you're planning on being in town on May 5th! 

No Way Jose's: This fun Mexican cantina is located right beside Ripley's Aquarium. They serve tasty food in a vibrant, colorful environment! 

Loco Burro: This unique Tex-Mex spot highlights their house-made margaritas and mesquite grilling technique. For an even more unusual experience, dine at their rooftop bar! 

El Sonador: This beloved, family-owned restaurant offers an extensive selection of meals, desserts, and drinks. They serve authentic eats that will thrill all Mexican food lovers! 

El Ranchero Loco: This homey, down-to-earth Mexican restaurant specializes in classic Mexican fare like tacos and fajitas. You'll love their selection of imported beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks (like horchata!). 

Rocky Top Canteen: This scenic spot for Tex-Mex is located within Anakeesta. They're known for their "Carne Asada soft tacos, succulent Pollo Rojo, and savory Pork Carnitas," served alongside of stunning views!
